Memorial II
Memorial I is part of one of Marco Bizzarri's latest exhibitions called Unearthed.
Unearthed addresses a series of themes that are linked to the experience of loss. Surrounded by mourning demonstrations in the Notting Hill neighbourhood, Marco's initial project was mutating. These experiences mobilised his own grief, stirring up a previously blocked imaginary, unearthing experiences that, in the geographical context where the exhibition takes place, make sense in order to reconnect with something that has been attempted to be hidden and forgotten.
Through a series of works, ranging from painting, video and installation, she recomposes an absence and warns about the evil that seems inherent to the global process, an evil that denaturalizes losses and dissociates us from the emotional pulse.
