Specializing in contemporary art, Collectio stands out for having a careful artistic selection in different formats and disciplines, in addition to the solid and thoughtful conceptual base that accompanies the works of its artists.
Through its exhibitions and projects, the gallery is interested in curatorial practices that build bridges between contemporary art and people, as well as supporting and promoting the identification of emerging talent. Since its inception, Collectio has reinvented the way of discovering and collecting contemporary art through a digital platform that exhibits works by emerging and established artists on the current scene.
Today, the gallery represents a valuable space for artists, who are supported in carrying out their creative projects. It has also become a meeting point for both small collectors and established art collections, maintaining a close relationship with its visitors throughout its history.
OUR ARTISTS
We work with leading contemporary artists chosen based on the quality of their work, long-term potential and the extensive artistic research they have developed around their work. Their lines of research explore formal, colour and geometric themes, and explore media such as painting, drawing, textiles and ceramics. They are evocative of an eclectic aesthetic, as they represent different movements, media, generations and styles.
We represent and collaborate with promising artists who are making their way in the current art scene, as well as those in their mid-career. Our artists have careers both in Chile and abroad, have been present at international fairs such as SWAB Barcelona, and have participated in projects and spaces that rethink the way we experience art.
