Marcela Undurraga
He has developed his work based on the use of a noble and vernacular material: clay. Through his modelling he reflects on how the history of human life runs parallel to that of objects. It is the shapes of these objects that, in a certain way, treasure and create imaginaries that inhabit the collective memory of human beings. Primary, universal and recognizable shapes such as spheres, cones, cylinders, curved or straight planes that interact, play and create new elemental and timeless bodies.
